Organising Savings Bank Camp to open POSB accounts on 10.10.2014 (Savings Bank Day)

    During celebration of National Postal week from 09.10.2014 to 15.10.2014, 10.10.2014 will be observed as Savings Bank Day by organising Savings Bank Camp in Post offices to open POSB accounts. The best two Circles who open maximum number of accounts will awarded by Directorate.

 

Relaunching of Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP) on 16.10.2014

      National Savings Institute (NSI) is organizing a function on 16th October, 2014 for relaunching of Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP) in New Delhi. During the function, Department of Posts officials will be awarded for their Outstanding Performance in the field of Small Saving Scheme. In this context, it is to inform that the issue of Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP) has been discontinued from 01.12.2011.

Launching of ‘Swach Bharat’ Mission by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.

The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has appeal to each and everyone to plan and wholeheartedly engaged in the task of cleaning of work places and surroundings etc. to make a “Swach Bharat’. The copy of the appeal dated 25^thSeptember 2014 is as under.

The Secretary Posts has also emphasised on an intensive National Cleaning campaign from 25.09.2014 to 31.10.2014 at the first phase and its continuance for the next five years. During the campaign various activities including administration of ‘Swach Sapath (Pledge)’ on 02.10.2014 by all employees in all offices. The copy of Secretary Posts DO letter No.87-04/2014-Corrd./O&M dated 24.09.2014 is also furnish below for your perusal, guidance and implementation of the National Cleaning campaign effectively.
