The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has appeal to each and everyone to plan and wholeheartedly engaged in the task of cleaning of work places and surroundings etc. to make a “Swach Bharat’. The copy of the appeal dated 25^thSeptember 2014 is as under.

The Secretary Posts has also emphasised on an intensive National Cleaning campaign from 25.09.2014 to 31.10.2014 at the first phase and its continuance for the next five years. During the campaign various activities including administration of ‘Swach Sapath (Pledge)’ on 02.10.2014 by all employees in all offices.                         Sub:- Conducting of Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion  to the  cadre of  Inspector  Posts (66.66%) Departmental quota for the year 2014 and LGO Examination, 2014 

 

Sir/Madam,

                 I am directed to refer this office letter of even number dated 09-09-2014 wherein the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion of LGO to the cadre of PA/SA for the year 2014 to be held on 21^st September-2014 and LDCE for promotion to the cadre of Inspector posts for the year 2014  on 20^th and 21^st September-2014 were postponed due to devastating flood situation in J & K State.

 2.         Now, it has been decided to hold the above mentioned Examination either on 15^th and 16^th November, 2014 or 22^nd and 23^rd November, 2014.  The exact schedule will be communicated shortly after fixing the venues for conducting the IP and LGO Examinations by the Outsourced Agency. 

 3.         This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.

LDCE for the promotion to the cadre of Inspector Posts for the year 2014

           Due to flash floods in Jammu and Kashmir State in last week, LDCE for the promotion to the cadre of Inspector Posts for the year 2014 scheduled to be held on 20/9/2014 and 21/9/2014 was postponed by Directorate vide Memo No. A.34012/04/2014-DE dated 9th September 2014 and now it  is learnt that the said examination will be held after restoration of situation of J&K state. It may take more than one month.

GDS COURT CASE - NEXT HEARING ON 08-02-2015

     GDS case came up for hearing in Delhi High Court on 19/09/2014. Court adjourned the case for next hearing on by 08-02-2015. Govt. filed counter affidavit. Additional reply statement will be filed by NFPE & AIPEU GDS (NFPE) shortly. We hope that argument will start in the next sitting.

Demise of Sri L.R.Pradhan

        Shri Lingaraj Pradhan, ASP(HQ), Divisional Office, Sambalpur passed away on 14.09.2014. Shri Pradhan was suffering from liver disease and was under treatment at Medanta-The Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon(Haryana).

        AIPEU(Gr-C),Divisional Branch Sambalpur  mourns the sad demise of Shri Pradhan and expresses deep condolence to the bereaved family. May the departed soul rest in peace in heavenly abode.

 Sir/Madam,

       I am directed to refer this office letter No. A-34012/03/2014-DE and A-34012/04/2014-DE dated 3^rd June, 2014 wherein the   notifications  for  holding  Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion of LGO to the cadre of PA/SA for the year 2014 to be held on 21^st September, 2014 and LDCE for promotion to the cadre of Inspector  posts  for the year 2014  on 20^th and 21^st September, 2014 were issued.

 

2.         The Outsourced Agency, M/s CMC Ltd. has intimated that conduct of the above mentioned examination on the scheduled dates is not feasible.  Therefore, the Competent Authority has ordered to postpone both the departmental examinations. The revised dates would be intimated shortly.

3.         This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.

Snapshots of Divisional Working Committee Meeting

    The 1st Executive Body Meeting of newly elected union office bearer of AIPEU(Gr-C),Sambalpur Division held today at Burla.Some snap shots of the said meeting are as under.

Increase in DA/DR Rate w.e.f. 1.7.2014.

     The Union cabinet today approved 7%  hike in DA rate as well as in DR rate  which will benefit about 30  lakhs Central Government Employees and 50 Lakhs pensioners respectively. The revised DA/DR rate will be applicable from 1.7.2014.With such increase, the DA/DR rate will now be 107%. The combined impact on the exchequer on account of both DA and DR would be about Rs 7,691 crore per annum and Rs 5,127 crore respectively in the financial year 2014-2015 (for eight months - July-2014 to February-2015)
